EDUCATION

One year Graphic Design programme with a focus in brand design, visual communication, editorial design and web development.
Featured work: Strategy and branding development for a boutique hotel in the city of Oaxaca (Thesis). Visual identity of Sitio del Retiro y el Prado, proposal for the City of Madrid in support of their attempt of becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Intensive one-year Interior Design course in which I tackled living and commercial space design.
Featured work: Loft design in New York City. Conceptual design of a Dior store in Milan based on brand analysis. London based Lounge-bar inspired by Brazilian culture.

Academic achievements

Attended a Fashion Marketing seminar in NYC given by Mexican designer Lydia Lavín.
Participated in the International Talent Support contest with the conceptual design of a small fashion collection.
Won 1st place in a contest organized by sportswear brand Voit, in which I designed an outfit based on the brand's requests and philosophy.
Participated in a contest called Artell Crea organized by Artell, a major fabric manufacturing company in Mexico. I designed a set of decorative cushions with experimental textile techniques, and they were chosen among the best fifty pieces, which were then exhibited and sold in Artell stores.

work experience

Worked for Grupo Altozano redesigning their corporate identity.
Was in charge of the art direction of printed advertising media, webpage design, corporate presentations, photography and the renderings of their projects.

Collaborated in the interior and custom-made furniture design for Foro Boca –a concert hall in Boca del Río, México.
Took part in the interior design and supervised the construction site of Síclo –the first spin studio in Mexico City.
Helped with render styling in several of the firm's projects.
